Harlan Cohen had no fear of college when he graduated high school. He had noticed his older brothers had no problems adapting to college, so he assumed the same would be true for him. He was so surprised the first year was so hard that he wound up switching to a different college and retaking freshman year there. The second time around he had a new outlook which helped him find his place.
Fast forward several years, and he is now a columnist (the only male who is syndicated, and the youngest syndicated columnist!). In his column which is called “Help Me, Harlan!” he gives advice on what to do and not to do in college. Now he has taken this research and experience and put it all into a book: The Naked Roommate especially the second edition.
This book offers a direct approach to many issues that students encounter in college. The tips include a variety of topics. Cohen covers countless aspects of college that are quite unexpected prior to freshman year.
The author does not hold back on things, whether that’s the good, bad, or the ugly. He tells all, and tells it like it is which is what readers of this book are probably looking for. The candor offered will be of great help to those who are trying to make it through the ups and downs of this very integral period in the life of a young adult.

well – one particular site that allows us to find gifts easily. They have sorted the gifts into themes like “unique gifts for men” or “romantic gifts for women” (kind of corny what they are offering there…). So without doing a lot of searching you have access to what I would consider the greatest selection of quite unique gifts. This saves a lot of time doing the search now.Oh, and something else: the store is really an Amazon shop somehow resorted and made pretty. It’s quite nicely organized. But I am utilising Flock on a machine running version 9.10 of Crashbang Ubuntu and the design aren’t quite satisfactory. Not a serious deal, I can still fundamentally read the articles and research for information, but just wanted to inform you about that.
